This is the blog of Barry Michaels.  I tend to focus here on the saints and other significant Catholic figures, such as those approaching formal canonization by the Church.

I am writing in response to your blog about Jeanne Jugan and the miracle. Unfortunately you never contacted me in January, or I would have been able to give you more information. I am responsible for our Publications Office and public relations for the canonization so if you would ever like any more information please do not hesitate to contact me.
    Thank you,
    Sr Constance Veit, lsp
