Festival of Hope: Another guest blogger

The Festival of Hope is fast approaching here at The Tail End.  With the addition of still another guest blogger joining us during the month-long celebration, I think it will prove to be even more worthwhile (and, quite literally, rewarding) to visitors.

Today I’m adding to the list of confirmed guests Mary DeTurris Poust.  Mary is a Catholic journalist with extensive and impressive professional experience in the field. (I was reading her work with admiration a decade and a half ago in Catholic New York, the then-weekly newspaper of the Archdiocese of New York.) She is also the author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Catholic Catechism and Parenting a Grieving Child: Helping Children Find Faith, Hope, and Healing after the Loss of a Loved One

As is the case with our other guest bloggers, I approached Mary about joining us because I respect her work and think her voice will enrich our reflections on what Christian hope is all about.  I’m thrilled that she has accepted.

Note, too: Along with a list of a couple of dozen other books, you can now add one of Mary’s books to what you might win by coming by this blog and checking out what’s here during November.

At this point, I think we’ll be giving away some cool gift (mostly books, but a few other goodies, too) to a visitor here every day during the month of November!  And the contribution of one of the many special guest bloggers will appear about three times every week here, all month long!  Please pass the word!
